Brad became the Chief Financial Officer at Fairland in 2022 and Vice-President in 2023. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, IA, and his MBA with an emphasis in accounting from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN. He also passed the CPA exam in 1993 and held his license to practice until 2013, when he left public accounting for the private sector.
Prior to working at Fairland, Brad has over 30 years of experience working in various roles in finance in CPA firms; private business, including agriculture related businesses; and non-profits.
Brad resides in Ocheyedan, Iowa with his wife Deanna. He has two grown daughters working in the healthcare field, twin daughters in college, and he also has two step-daughters and two step-sons. He is also a doting grandfather. In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and family, golfing, and pheasant hunting. In 2020, Brad stepped away from coaching baseball after 15 years coaching high school baseball and almost 25 years at other various levels, but he still enjoys the game.
